Well known architect

Frank Lloyd Wright

Born June 8, 1867- April 9, 1959. He was one of they most egregious architect in the first half of the 20centery and designed more than 1,000 projects.Wright was also an interior designer, writer and educator.

He Practiced a style known as organic architecture, a style in architecture where the relationship between the building and the nature around it was important. The building and the nature have to go together.

Le Corbusier

Born October 6, 1887- August 27, 1965, His name was Charles-Édouard Jeanneret-Gris, but he chose to be known as Le Corbusier. Le Corbusier was a Swiss- French architect, designer, urbanist, writer and a painter. He was born i Switzerland, but become a French citizen in his 30s.                                             Chaise Lounge

Le Corbusier become famous for being on of the pioneers of what now is called modern architecture. The architects in this styre wished to make something clean and new. The use of geometric forms and glass was central in the modern architecture. Only the functionals was used, and because of that ornament was something  they get rid of.
